INTERS CAMP TO POINT WALTER

Firstly I would like to thank all the helpers that came and assisted me with controlling 23 swimmers over 3 nights. You were all a huge help to me and I could not have organised nor run the camp without you so thank you all very much. The camp ran smoothly with no hiccups. It was fantastic. Every swimmer who attended was very well behaved and all staff at Fremantle Leisure Centre, Point Walter, and the catering company agreed with me that you were fantastic and a great group of kids, the only complaint being “Geez there a noisy bunch!”. Club Relay Day – Challenge Stadium 16 January 2012 – Coach Comment

There’s a difference between a winning team and one that is successful. The changes we have made this year have been all about creating a winning culture and today, exactly that, was on display by all involved.

At the inaugural State Championship Relay Day, Arena Swim Club won the overall point score on 244 points.2nd was Western Sprint on 152 points and third was Southside Wesley on 78 points.

Thanks very much to the management team, coaching staff, supporters and of course, all the swimmers – we could not have achieved this result without full support from all parties. Special mention to Carey Martin for her impeccable leadership on the day. Let’s build on this momentum for the remainder of the State Championships.

Best of luck to all swimmers.
