I would like to personally thank all parents who have come forward during the past week and offered their time, it is great to see. I will be confirming additional Committee members in the coming days. All members should have already received the attached letter, if you have not then please contact the Club via the web site and confirm with us your email address.<\/p>\n<p>The Committee is working hard to ensure that in the three months in the lead up to the AGM we are able to present to you, the members, a comprehensive plan for the future. <span style=\"background-color: #ffff00;\">The first part of that plan is to announce that Rod Bonsack, a life member of the Arena Swim Club and Head Coach for 12 years up until mid 2013, has agreed to join the Committee for this priority three months and take on the responsibility of working with our coaches on behalf of the Management Committee to continue to develop the best possible coaching and swimming environment possible.<\/span> Rod is highly respected throughout the industry and to give up his time to return to the Arena as a committee member and to work with Carey, Warren and their coaching team in fine tuning our swim programme is greatly appreciated.<\/p>\n<p>More to come<\/p>\n<p>Dean Solly<\/p>\n<p>President<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.arenaswimclub.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Appointment-of-ASC-Management-Committee-April-29-2015-1.pdf\">Appointment of ASC Management Committee April 29 2015 &#8211; 1<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>CLUB NEWS:\u00a0Please find attached the announcement of the new Management Committee for the Arena Swim Club.
