Please find attached the promotion of a series of Swimming Development\u00a0Clinics for our swim squads with one of the most qualified and\u00a0successful swim coaches in Australia, if not the world, in Bud\u00a0McAllister. My reference to “the world” is not an over statement, Bud’s\u00a0swimming coaching credentials are outstanding and I look forward to his\u00a0expertise benefiting not only our swimming programme but also in the\u00a0ongoing education of our valued coaches.<\/p>\n

In partnership with the WA Institute of Sport and Swimming WA, the Arena\u00a0Swim Club is extremely pleased to have the High Performance Training\u00a0Centre based at HBF Arena, (and Craigie Leisure Centre). As you can read\u00a0on the attached flyer the head coach of the HPTC, Bud McAllister, is a\u00a0highly successful Olympic swim coach and his achievements are second to\u00a0none!<\/p>\n

In addition to Bud as a coach, the ASC is very fortunate to have some of\u00a0Australia’s leading swimmers training four times a week alongside our\u00a0Nationals through to our Bronze and Silver swimmers. The opportunity to\u00a0learn from the best and to watch how these elite swimmers train is too\u00a0good for any swimmer to pass up. Blair Evans, Western Australia’s own\u00a0Olympic swimmer, is training for Rio 2016 and I encourage all swimmers,\u00a0and parents, to take the time and watch Blair and the rest of the WAIS\u00a0team, including a number of Arena’s high performance swimmers, push\u00a0themselves to their limits at HBF Arena.<\/p>\n

The swim clinics as detailed in the attached brochure form part of the\u00a0Arena Swim Club commitment to providing the best possible training \/\u00a0coaching environment in Western Australia. I would like to formally\u00a0welcome Bud and his team to our club and I look forward to working with\u00a0him and our coaches in bringing more opportunities to our swim club\u00a0members in the next 12 months.<\/p>\n

I know the ASC members will be wishing him and his swimmers every\u00a0possible success in the months ahead as they strive for Rio 2016 and\u00a0Tokyo 2020.<\/p>\n
