<\/a>Valid Swipe Card<\/strong><\/p>\n

All swimmers are required to have a current membership swipe card to enter the pool.<\/p>\n

Effective from Monday 31 May 2010, Venues West has advised that you will not<\/span><\/strong> be granted access to the pool for training if you do not have a current\u00a0valid swipe card. You will be required to pay the pool entry fee to access the pool.<\/p>\n

Swimmers – please do not<\/strong> kick the gate to open the pool as this will result in you being refused entry.<\/p>\n

If you have monthly training fees direct debited to\u00a0credit card or bank account, please ensure that reception is advised of any changes\u00a0to account details as they arise to ensure that your swipe card remains valid.<\/p>\n

Improper Use of Emergency Exits<\/strong><\/p>\n

Swimmers – you are reminded\u00a0not to enter or exit the pool via the emergency exits. You have been advised on a\u00a0 number of occasions in the past that this\u00a0practice is unacceptable. Venues West has advised that should this\u00a0practice continue, individuals will be barred from the\u00a0from\u00a0the pool for an extended time.<\/p>\n

Club Room Office<\/strong><\/p>\n

This room is a shared space and used by Venues West for a number of purposes. Arena Swim Club has access to the room during training periods and race sessions. Swimmers should not be in this room unless they have a sound reason (\u00a0ie: homework).<\/p>\n

Over the past two months, swimmers gear bags and food stuff has been left scattered across the room following morning training sessions.\u00a0 This is contributing to a problem with vermin within the centre and the office. Club committee members have had\u00a0to return to the pool during the day to clean up the mess left behind by swimmers.<\/p>\n

The outcome:\u00a0\u00a0Venues West\u00a0is pushing to\u00a0ban all swimmers from the room outside of training hours; and then access will only be allowed under direct supervision of\u00a0coaching staff or a parent.<\/p>\n

The club has given an assurance to Venues West that the office will be kept clean and tidy. To assist with this, the club is\u00a0investigating storage solutions to help with the cleanliness of the room and storage of swim bags and sealed food containers.<\/p>\n
