Arena swimmers have delivered outstanding performances at this years National Open Short course meet in Adelaide.<\/p>\n
Special mention\u00a0to Katherine Downie who had an outstandiong meet, breaking\u00a03 World records *\u00a0in three days of competition. A fantastic\u00a0reward for her hard work and determination at training; and building on her\u00a0outstanding success at the Arafura Games and great recognition for her coach, Michael Shaw.<\/p>\n
Finals appearances where\u00a0also achieved by Bobby Jovanovich (bronze in 100 backstroke ) and Greg Tidboald (6th in 200 IM), great reward for the swimmers and coach Paul Bruce.<\/p>\n
Arena swimmers\u00a0achived a number of siginificant\u00a0PBs, with Gene Williams the standout achieveing a 5 sec PB on his entry time for the 1500m.<\/p>\n
