Many thanks to those of you who took the time to complete the survey back in March. Much of the feedback was very positive and we thank you for your support. As you will appreciate the committee consists of volunteers who give up their time to ensure the smooth running of the club for the benefit of the swimmers. From the results we have been able to identify a couple of key areas that we can work on, with the main issue appearing to be communication.
We hope that some new initiates may assist communication but this will only succeed if all members use the Arena Swim Club Website regularly.
Suggested Initiatives:
- a new members handbook
- a buddy system for new parents
- a contact person/phone number for swim meet timekeeping rostering changes (day of the meet)
- possibility of a monthly newsletter
We also received contact details of 7 new willing volunteers who will be contacted shortly and invited to come along to the AGM on Tuesday the 7th of August.
