1. It has been brought to the attention of the committee that some swimmers are using this area as a “changing room”. This is a NOT ACCEPTABLE – please use the appropriate changing rooms as provided by Arena Joondalup.
Some swimmers are using the room to eat breakfast following the morning training sessions and after school. Recently there has been food and litter left all over the place – please use the rubbish bins and keep the room neat and tidy, bags should be left in the cupboard provided.
2. After school the Arena has provided the room for swimmers to undertake “homework” prior to training. There have been recent events that have resulted in this becoming nothing more than a social meeting room with a lack of respect for the facilities and the purpose for which they have been provided. This also demonstrates a lack of consideration for those swimmers who wish to utilise the room to complete homework.
All users of the room are advised that, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, if BEHAVIOUR and RESPECT is not improved, access to this facility will be lost.
Parents’ support in encouraging appropriate behaviour is greatly appreciated.
