CONGRATULATIONS
The Arena Swim Club won the Swimming WA “A Grade” Premiership on Friday night by the small margin of 7.5 points. Competition was tight throughout the evening and all swimmers are to be congratulated on their efforts.
The theme for the evening was “Gods and Goddesses” with the Arena Swim Club winning the $200 Swimming WA award for the best dressed club. Coaches and swimmers all embraced the theme and many thanks to Brenda DuRandt who arranged for the props. Congratulations to Angus Clouston and Helen Claxton who were recipients of club awards for best dressed male and female swimmer.
We will be the “hunted” in our quest for 4 in a row next season, so all of us – swimmers, coaches, committee and supporters need to continue our proactive approach and mindset, if we are to reach our future goals.
