Well the winds of change are starting to blow and we will see a few major program innovations in the next few weeks.
What does this mean?
It means we will be aiming at introducing more racing opportunities and stay in the local area.
We will be aiming at doing this in training times so we maximise our time and effort without hitting the weekends heavily.
Our aim is to keep the costs of racing down so using local time trial meets will give us an advantage in all areas.
WAIS new high performance network centre model has been having a good look at what we can offer here from our program and we are aiming to be involved in this heavily as it will assist in the development of all ASC swimmers presently and in the future.
Keep your eyes and ears open and when i get more info i will let you know asap.
As the competitive stream of the program, the club members will be driven by the coaching staff towards opportunities individually, and collectively as a group, so we can build our club to stay at the sharp end of competitive swimming.
