The BHP Billiton Aquatic Super Series “Super Clinics” for JX and YPS swimmers held 16, 17 & 19th January presented a fantastic opportunity for our young swimmers to get up close and personal with Australian swimming elite – in Perth to contest pool swimming, water polo and open water events in the 2013 BHP Billiton Aquatic Super Series being held 18th – 20th January.
The clinics, held in the outdoor pool at Challenge combined question and answer sessions with Stephanie Rice, Christian Sprenger and our own Yolane Kukla to mention a few, with wet session group rotations to gain practical technique tips from the very best in the business.
Refreshments and signing opportunities with our country’s highest swimming achievers capped off what may otherwise have been just an ordinary school holiday day. A few photo opportunities were had on the day. Our thanks to these awesome athletes who gave so generously of their time to inspire our young swimmers. We wish you well over the series. Go Aussie!
