Last Thursday night saw a young crew from Arena answer the call to help out with basket handling duties for the finals at the SWA State Open & Age LC Championships held at Challenge Stadium
The kids worked really hard for 2.5 hours non-stop, with no complaints and got to be up close to some of WA’s and Australia’s best swimmers – some even managed to get a few autographs
They looked great in their matching Arena gear and were commented on how well organised they were compared to some of the other nights !! – Go Arena !

And, also a big big thanks to Allison Packer for parent co-ordinating on the night (plus big thankyous to Lisa, Louise and Simone for also helping out on the night)
Most of these families did not have siblings racing so it was a great effort from all to give up some of their spare time…… guarantee these kids will be the ones racing these finals in a few years’ time !!
