With the start of the New Year well and truly underway it’s time we thought about the direction we want to take the social side of the club
We desperately need a parent volunteer to take on the role of social co-ordinator for a little item we call Tiff’s Travels
Tiff’s Travels in past years has seen us go bowling, dark light, beach volleyball, Adventure World…..& even overseas to Rotto! – with great thoughts on hold of going to Perth Zoo, and Paintballing just for the older kids! The kids will tell you they get such a blast and it’s great team building
The role is fairly straight forward – organising social events for the members of the competitive squads with the assistance of the committee ! Easy !
We need assistance from outside of the committee to ensure this winning formula survives. Without parent help, most of the kids will only ever see each other in bathers, swimming up and down the pool and some parents will only ever wave up into the stands doing drop off and pick up!
Remember, they’re kids first who like to swim – Let’s make 2013 a year when we really get to know one another!
