Message from Breakers Registrar follows

Important information in relation to our Big Splash Meet – Sunday 9th March:
Breakers Swim Club would like to thank everyone who has entered our upcoming Big Splash Meet.
We have been completely overwhelmed by the number of entries as swimmers race to achieve junior qualifying times. Unfortunately because of such large numbers we have had to make a number of changes to avoid a finish time of 8.30pm! We have been working very closely with SWA and in trying to minimise disruption to those junior swimmers seeking state times have made the following changes:
1. 800m freestyle will move to the last event of the day.
2. 800m freestyle will only be available to swimmers aged 11-12.
3. If you are a swimmer aged between 11-12 and you also have registered to enter the 400IM you will need to select either the 400IM or the 800m Freestyle and advise before the start of the meet.
4. 12/U male and female 50 m breaststroke has been removed from the program.
5. Warm up will start at 8.00am with event 2 Boys 12/U 50m Butterfly commencing at 8.30am sharp.
6. Timekeepers will be required to start at 8.30am.
If you have already sent payment we will calculate the refund and issue following the meet. If you have not yet submitted payment, please recalculate and forward amended payment amount.
We would like to apologise for this however these changes were made in consultation with SWA to ensure the correct procedures were followed.
